Katzie Slough – 25 Aug 2018

In partnership with the Katzie First Nation and community members, Watershed Watch Salmon Society has been working hard to improve water quality & salmon habitat in the Katzie Slough – an important ecological habitat for wild pacific salmon.

Join Watershed Watch Salmon Society and HUB Cycling on August 25th for a relaxed bike tour of the Katzie Slough, as the Watershed Watch Salmon Society team explains the issues that salmon are facing and how we can work towards sustainable solutions.

Participants can start the tour in either Maple Ridge (9:30am) or Pitt Meadows (10:30am), and will end at the Osprey Village picnic area for a catered lunch, ending around 1pm.

9:30am start – Maple Ridge (22km ride)
Meeting in front of the ACT Arts Centre

10:30am start – Pitt Meadows (11km ride)
Meeting at East Parking lot at Meadowtown Mall

This is a free & family friendly event.

There will be a maximum of 50 spots available
