Please join us for a group ride to celebrate the opening of a brand new 5 kilometer bike route in North Surrey connecting the Port Mann Bridge and Fraser Heights to the City Centre. We will join the grand opening celebration at the Bon Accord Bridge along the way. The ride will leave the Surrey Library at City Centre (10350 University Dr, Surrey at the bike racks).
Our ride will be stopping at the bridge to join the celebration and then we will ride the rest of the route to Fraser Heights, Tynhead Park and returning to the City Centre via the Green Timbers Greenway for a total of 26 kilometers. Details and a map of the route can be found here: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/7665649
There is no food at the Bridge opening but there is a cafe in the Library and halfway along the route.
If you are only interested in a short ride you do have the option of returning following the bike route or you can join a Jane’s Walk event that is starting from the Bon Accord Bridge at 1 pm that discusses the history of the area.
