Kids on Wheels ~ Junior Balance Bike Camp
Ages 2-3 with parents/caregivers – 45 minutes/5 days a week(one session 4 days)
This week-long camp is designed to introduce young children to the joy of cycling. At this camp we’ll mainly focus on getting the children comfortable on balance bikes wearing helmets, provide tips to parents on how to fit a balance bike to their child and practice important skills such as stopping, riding, balancing, and gliding. We’ll read some biking books and sing songs. Balance bikes help children gain confidence and improve their self esteem and risk management. This camp is designed for beginner and intermediate riders and parent/caregiver participation is required. Due to COVID-19 only one parent/caregiver is allowed with each child. If possible please your child wearing a helmet already and children are invited to bring their own balance bikes. If needed we can provide a bike and a helmet for the duration of the camp.
