Osoyoos fills with families and beachgoers every summer, and it’s one of my favourite places to explore by bike. I was back riding here recently and was delighted to discover several improvements to the cycling network, especially east of Cottonwood Park and along the Lakeshore Pathway.
There are lots of ways to explore Osoyoos by bike. My maps include some of my favourite riding options—from the Vineyard Trail and Osoyoos Oxbows to the Irrigation Canal Trail, Lakeshore Pathway, sẁiẁs Park and the Nk’Mip Desert Cultural Centre. Mix and match them to create a ride that suits your time, interests and energy level.

Or put them together into the Osoyoos Circle Tour, a relaxed 23 km ride linking many of the best sections. I especially enjoy the Irrigation Canal Trail and the loop through sẁiẁs Park (Haynes Point)—with, of course, plenty of good reasons to stop along the way.
For detailed maps of these routes, complete with turn-by-turn directions, connecting routes and things to see along the way, pick up a copy of Let’s Go Biking to the Okanagan & Beyond.
