Portside Bikeway

Ride #8 in

Working waterfronts, quiet bikeways and a different side of Vancouver.

Distance

10 km one way

Terrain

Paved and hardpacked trails, quiet shared streets

Follow Vancouver’s shoreline east along the Portside Bikeway — a quieter ride with views into the working harbour. Freighters, cranes and tugboats line the route, with the North Shore mountains rising in the distance.

Ride at your own pace, with options to explore parks, gardens and small detours along the way.

Perfect for a relaxed outing, a return ride or anyone curious to see a different side of the city.
