North Shore Spirit Trail
That’s the Spirit …Trail! For a fun and easy ride head over to the North Shore and enjoy the Spirit Trail. The well-signed route is a safe and separated pathway with lots to discover along the way. Ride to the end of Burrard Pier for view of Vancouver City, explore Lonsdale Quay Market, and visit beaches along the way.
Boundary Bay Trail
Boundary Bay Park is a perfect place for beginning riders. There are many ways to enjoy the easy dyke trails. Start anywhere along the route or do the whole thing. Centennial Beach has an easy loop, Boundary Bay dyke trail extends 20km east of Beach Grove — ride them together for a 40km ride. Respect farm machinery — this is their working road. Boundary Bay is great for bird watching, keep your eyes open for eagles, snowy owls, herons, and migrating birds.

Lynn Creek
There are two short but fun routes on Lynn Creek on the North Shore. Upper Lynn Creek has a more advanced trail and you can connect to Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve. Pitt River Greenway
This section of The Great Trail runs along the Pitt and Fraser rivers. You’ll ride by cranberry fields, see planes come and go from the Pitt Meadows Airport, and can have lunch at Stomping Grounds in Osprey Village.
Ridge Meadows Circle
Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge are made for cycling. The full circle is mostly on dyke trails and quiet shared roads. You’ll see cranberry fields, three rivers, an airport, pumpkin patches; and might spot eagles, herons, and horses along the way.
