Canoe Pass (Brunswick Point)

Ride #68 in

A simple out-and-back ride with coastal views, birdlife, and peaceful dyke trails.

Distance

10km • 14km

Terrain

Hardpacked dyke trail, shared road

There’s lots of bird watching along the shores of Canoe Pass, formerly called Brunswick Point. Combine this ride with Westham Island for a longer day.

A great ride for those who like cycling on dyke trails amidst wildflowers and looking west over the Salish Sea. For a quieter section with the kids, start at 30B Street.

Keep your eyes open for flocks of ducks, fishing herons, eagles, and migrating birds.
