Sometimes there’s the perfect ride — this is one of my favourites — the river and valley views are spectacular. The route follows the The Great Trail through farm fields along the Fraser River to Fort Langley. For a shorter ride start at Derby Reach Park, explore the quaint town of Fort Langley and enjoy lunch or an ice-cream! Add on a visit to Brae Island Park or visit the 1827 Historic Fort.
Loop around Richmond’s many trails. Ride along the Middle Arm Dyke then follow West Dyke Trail. Circle Garry Point Park for views over the Salish Sea. Visit the historic fishing village of Steveston on the Fraser River and have lunch at Fisherman’s Wharf. Meander along the South Dyke Trail, visit the Britannia Shipyards and Finn Slough. Return via Shell and Bridgeport Trails for a full circle tour.

Sometimes when riding we think...where in the world are we? This was certainly true as we cycled along the Great Blue Heron Way in Tsawwassen First Nation. This is a little gem of a ride near the ferry terminal, there’s a new boardwalk and quiet side streets to explore. Big plans are in the works...but for now we were pleased to see a place where ducks lined the shores and wildflowers bloomed ― a quiet oasis just outside of the big city.
The Discovery Trail winds from park to park from the west side of Abbotsford to Sumas Mountain. It’s especially nice in the fall with views of Mt Baker. There are two sections to the trail: West and East. Do one, do the whole thing — you will see a lot of the beautiful Abbotsford countryside.

The Burnaby Mountain Urban Trail - BMUT is fine anytime of the year, but especially on crisp fall days riding through piles of leaves. It’s an easy route - mostly flat on a paved and separated greenway. There are lunch options at Burnaby Mountain Golf course or along Hastings Street.

Explore Vancouver on the Seaside Greenway and through Chinatown and Gastown on this city loop. You’ll follow the shoreline from the Convention Center, around Stanley Park, and along False Creek. The views are spectacular any time of the year and the route is especially beautiful during the April Cherry Blossom Festival.
Enjoy this scenic loop on Burrard Inlet, around the city, and along Adanac Bikeway. You’ll see the inlet, North Shore Mountains, Port of Vancouver, Strathcona, and East Van. Start from Vancouver or Burnaby ― either way it’s a great route.
