#6C Cranberry Trail ~ Maple Ridge

The cranberries are ready in early October in Maple Ridge.
The best cranberry spotting is from the dyke near Ford Road and another large field north of the Pitt River bridge.

Cranberries are corralled by a boom.

Harvesters getting ready to pull the berries from the flooded field.

There are many access points to the dyke trail.  Here's an safe and easy route for the little ones.  Park and start at the airport at the south end of Harris Road, head west on the dyke.  Continue up to the marina on the Alouette River - 10 km one way and then back track for a 20km ride.
