The cranberries are ready in early October in Maple Ridge.
The two best places to see the cranberry bogs are near the Pitt River Bridge in Pitt Meadows. Park on the quiet roadway of Old Dewdney Trunk Road and cycle on the dyke path.

The other field I like to visit is located on the dyke between Ford Road and Kennedy/Woolridge Streets. You can make this one long ride by parking/starting at the bottom of Harris Road and cycling along dyke past the south field and the north field and can add in the loops to make it a varied route.
For family fun come to the Cranberry Festival at Meadows Maze on 11October 2014. There will be displays about cranberry farming and cranberry tasting. You can slip on gumboots and get right into the flooded berry field or take a wagon tour of the field. There's a corn maze with a different design every year, a store and lots of fun things to see and do.
Cranberry Day Entertainment, cranberry tasting, and a wagon tour of the Cranberry bog. It’s going to be crantastic! Meadows Maze - 13672 Reichenbach Road. Activities 11:00am-3:00pm (maze open until 10:00pm) www.meadowsmaze.com
